In the Fourth session, EFC screened 286 films from 37 countries with wide programmes on a special theme entitled Poetic Cinema, the participants included: Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival; Collectif Jeune Cinema; Le Groupe de Recherches et d'Essais Cinematographiques (G.R.E.C.); Association of French Animated Cinema (AFCA), also EFC celebrated the works of the following directors: Mikhail Kobakhidze; Serge Avedikian and Artavazd Pelechian. Other programmes included: Edinburgh International Film Festival; German Cinema: Next Generation; Cinemanila International Film Festival; Norwegian Film Institute and Amman Filmmakers Cooperative.
