Invitation / The 3rd Middle East Screenwriters Lab

The Royal Film Commission is holding the 3rd Middle East Screenwriters Lab in Jordan in consultation with Sundance Institute. This lab is designed for emerging screenwriters and filmmakers from our region working on their first or second narrative feature film script. The 3rd Middle East Screenwriters Lab is scheduled for this fall from 28 October to 1 November 2007 and will be held in Wadi Feynan, Jordan. It is an opportunity to develop your script with the guidance of screenwriters who will embrace your vision and help you find the most compelling way to tell your story. You will meet one-on-one with 5-6 professional advisors in intensive story sessions dialogues in which you will re-examine your script and discuss solutions to existing problems. The RFC encourages you to submit an application for consideration . A limited number of writers will be accepted. If you are planning to do additional work on your script from now until October, please send your current draft with a note indicating that there will be an updated draft by October 1st. Submissions are accepted in both Arabic and English (accepted Arabic submissions will be translated into English for the lab).
